First

Get in touch via email or fill out our Travel Survey to start the process. We will be in touch within 48 hours to schedule a call or follow up via your preferred contact method to discuss the details of your booking.

Next

After we get in touch, Update Later Travel will send over a custom quote based on our conversation. If you are ready to take the plunge we will submit an invoice and timeline. After receipt of payment via Venmo, your itinerary etc. will be created.

Final

When everything is complete, you will be sent a first draft via email. If any edits need to be made, you have the option of one free change to your custom itinerary. After, we send over your completed itinerary via your preferred method. Questions? Check out our FAQ for details.

Highlights

  • Let us do the heavy lifting of vacation research and recommend where you should eat, drink and stay!

    Consider this the list to beat all other lists. We submit to you a detailed list of curated recommendations for your trip, allowing you the freedom to pick and choose what you like and plan your days accordingly. The comprehensive list could include: restaurants, bars, coffee shops, historical sights, destination specific activities, hotels and Air BnBs. All within your budget and specific for your wants and needs !

Details

  • This package balances structure and flexibility. It will include recommendations on where to eat, stay and activities to do, while also having a few fully planned out days.

    The detailed day itineraries can either be in destination, such as “Everything to see and do in the Shinjuku neighborhood of Tokyo” or a “Day in Malibu” as part of a California roadtrip.

    Alternatively, it could be a detailed day trip, such as “Tuscan wine country from Florence” or “Ski day in the Swiss Alps”. This is perfect for a traveler who wants to explore at their own pace but have some solid plans in place.

Everything

  • You want a fully customized travel itinerary. All your hopes and dreams are in one single document to help you execute the perfect trip.

    Day to day outline for every day of your trip, including recommendations for all travel categories (accommodations, dining, activities, transportation etc.). 

    We organize this itinerary to be geographically convenient so there are no wasted steps. 

    This is customized to meet your needs. It will be a detailed plan, yet if you prefer a slower pace, scheduled downtime or time to explore on your own, that will be built into the day to day plan. Consultation call included.

  • $50 per day planned.

Bits & Bobs

  • Do you want to get the best deal on a long haul flight, multi-city or simply want someone else to do the leg work on finding a flight deal?

    ULT will monitor prices on your behalf, exploring all airlines, routes and flight pricing trends. You will hear from us as soon as we find the best possible flight to meet your needs.

    Update Later will include booking links and instructions.

    Additionally, if you are wanting to use miles for booking, ULT will track deals within the mileage space to score you that business class seat for a discount. (No guarantees !)

  • You have some travel ideas and need help focusing or discussing feasibility. Or you just want to see if ULT is the right fit for you!  

    This call can also function as a traveling therapy session, let's take all your amazing ideas and create a trip together.

  • Do you want to have a travel expert available to you while you are on vacation? 

    Imagine having ULT in your pocket while you are traveling. ULT  is here to help you navigate day to day changes in your travel itinerary. Was your planned restaurant closed and you need a recommendation in that part of town? Road closures, train strikes, and flight delays, we can help you navigate around any travel hiccups so you can continue your stress free vacation.

    $10 per day of travel.

  • ULT has a number of pre-made itineraries that can be sent to you upon request. These are not custom made, but a general travel plan that could meet the needs of a wide variety of individuals. 

    These itineraries range from weekend road trips, to 2 week long European adventures or exciting outdoor pursuits. Some examples include: 

    • 4 days in the Cinque Terre

    • 2 week Ireland Roadtrip

    • 2 weeks in Chilean and Argentinian Pategonia

  • If booking less than 1 week away from your desired travel, ULT will add in a “rush service” fee. This is due to the detailed and high quality nature of ULT itinerary planning.
